Part of our Fill Your Cup collection of mugs designed by refugees. A good old cuppa shows a warm welcome, brings new friends together and helps us feel at home. When you buy one of these mugs, you'll help refugees to build a new home and community in the UK, too.
About the artist
Hao* is a young person originally from South East Asia seeking asylum in the UK. The writing says 'I have hope' in Japanese. “When I think of hope, I think of peace,” Hao said. He also hopes that he will get his dream job one day.
*Because Hao has not yet received refugee status, we have changed his name and cannot show you his face to protect his identity.
Each mug will be packaged with recycled materials and include a card about the artist, making these the perfect gift! Find out more about how the British Red Cross helps refugees.
