About the artist
This Exclusive SUE_TIMNEY range has been designed in collaboration with The British Red Cross, drawing inspiration from our Migration and Displacement work, an area Sue herself feels very passionate about. The designs reflect the movement of people across borders and the power of kindness.
“I grew up seeing how the British Red Cross was there to support people where their need was greatest. I feel immensely proud to now be contributing to such an amazing organisation, through the collaboration of these SUE_TIMNEY designs. It felt important that the themes reflected our world today, with the movement of people across borders, the displacement of existing communities and positively welcoming people into new ones.”
SUE_TIMNEY is a British interior, product and textile designer. Timney's work is in the collection of several museums, including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. She has worked in Britain, USA, Europe and Japan and in 1980 co-founded Timney-Fowler, an interior product company.
