Made by Social Enterprise Trashy Bags Africa this bag is made from over 25 used plastic water sachets which is the single largest source of drinking water in Ghana. Cheap to produce, the waste unfortunately presents an enormous challenge considering the lack of recycling initiatives in the country.
Each month, Trashy Bags Africa collect over 200,000 plastic water sachets that are cleaned and upcycled by their team to create fashionable, iconic, and useable products.
